Sales Executive
Description
In this position, you will generate and close sales of the solutions from GlobalScholar’s
platform. You will concentrate on selling GlobalScholar solutions to State, Local,
and Educational (SLED) institutions, and libraries. Your responsibilities are to
generate, develop and close sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales quota, with emphasis on strong quarterly attainment
- Build business strategy to generate both short and long-term business for all GlobalScholar
products
- Increase awareness of the GlobalScholar platform, and strengthen customer relationships
in the public sector
- Develop and work with current and new GlobalScholar partners
- Travel throughout the United States
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the education industry, including prior experience
selling into the State, Local, and Educational markets
- Previous experience selling enterprise software
- Proven ability to sell both large and small deals, and to meet or exceed quotas,
multi-million dollar quotas
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Goal oriented, self-motivated
- Able to work independently, but within a team environment
